Because it goes against a commonly-held belief (i.e. ice cream is bad for you)

This counterintuitiveness is a great tool for prompting intrigue

Not only is he going against the grain by saying that the key to getting rich is working less

But he is also showing you that you should be avoiding work in the thumbnail

These are two strong indicators going against the common wisdom that “you need to work a ton to get rich”

When the prospective viewer sees this video they think to themselves

“I want to get rich and I really don’t want to work that much - I need to check this video out!”
