If You're Struggling To Get Views On YouTube Read This
Here's the one missing element most people ignore...
Imagine for a second you’re a hotdog vendor living in two different situations
In the first, you’re selling your delicious hotdogs at your stand during half-time at the Superbowl
In the second, you’re selling your delicous hotdogs at your stand two weeks later after the game has ended
In which situation do you think you’ll sell more hotdogs?
Duh - the first situation
The question is, why?
It’s not because people are more hungry on the day of the Superbowl
It’s because there is infinitely more demand for food that day than in the latter situation (where there is none)
Sadly, most YouTube channels are operating like the vendor in situation #2
They are publishing videos where a lack of demand exists hoping for their views to take off
But they never do…
This is why I am adamant that at least some form of demand assessment is performed before making any video
It could be researching topics on Google Trends, looking for crack videos in the market or even analyzing other social media platforms for recommendations
Beside avoiding the frustration of uploading videos that generate next to no views
Ensuring that is an addressable audience for your content will allow you to maximize the output of your videos (views, subscribers, income) for the least amount of input (time and money)
And that is the key to running a profitable channel
So the next time you’re about to create a video ask yourself one simple question:
“Do I want to be the Superbowl hotdog vendor or the 2-weeks late hotdog vendor?”
If you want to join the other Superbowl hotdog vendors inside Tube Academy I have 1 spot left for enrolment right now.
If you want more details, reply the word “tube” to this email for more information.
Happy Saturday,
