The WORST YouTube Channel You Can Start

Avoid this is making money on YouTube is your goal...

I know something about you that you probably don’t even realize

No, it’s not that you sent love letters to your crush in high school

Nope, it’s not that you’re a notorious bedroom phone scroller

It’s that you signed up to read my daily emails for one sole reason

To make money on YouTube…

Now that we have that out in the open

It’s time to talk about what can get in the way of making that goal a reality…

One obstacle is starting the wrong channel…

Kind of like a life partner, on YouTube there’s someone (or a channel) out there for everything

That’s the case because we all have varying needs

You may want a partner who is independent and thoughtful

While others may want one that’s clingy and loud

Well, on YouTube, given that goals will vary from person to person

They too will vary and must align to the type of channel they start

As someone who’s worked with hundreds of channels I can tell you that a major mistake people make is starting a channel that is misaligned to their income goals

Which, as title subject line of this email alludes to is the worst YouTube channel you can start…

For example, they start a channel that will barely be able to earn them $3,000 in the best of cases

When in reality making $20,000/mo is their goal

It’s like trying to win an F1 race in a Toyota Corolla - you’re in the wrong vehicle…

This is why, before releasing a single video, you need to validate all of the various monetization methods that exist in your niche

Because I feel so strongly about undertaking this part of a channel launch

Whenever I provide my Tube Academy students new Niche Roadmaps, which are full channel strategy guides for breakout niches, I always indicate how they can be monetized

This is to ensure that they don’t pick a channel, invest tons of time and money into it without there ever being a chance that they will reap the rewards they are looking for

As the saying goes “failing to plan is planning to fail” and when it comes to the achievement of your YouTube aspirations, aligning your channel to the money you want to make is a must!

Happy Friday!
