Why no one watches your YouTube videos (must see)

I bet you never thought of this...

While living in Canada is great for the most part

There are a few downsides that I’d rather live without

The first is of course the insane price of homes

The second is the cold weather

Not only does the cold weather keep you locked inside for months

But it also limits one of the commonalities of warmer climate cities

What is that commonality?

People driving exotic cars

Visit Fort Lauderdale, Orlando or Miami

And you’ll see a supercar go by every hour of the day

Causing your head to jerk just to catch a second look

In the same way that car fans love to admire the latest and greatest vehicles

People are also drawn to unique and engaging thumbnails on YouTube

And if you’re not getting a ton of views on YouTube right now you’re probably missing this key element

Take for example two basketball channels

Let’s analyze their video results and how engaging their thumbnails truly are

Channel #1: Swish ARCC

Channel 2: Heat Check

Right away, you’ll notice the difference in video views

The first channel is struggling to reach 5k views per video

While the latter is consistently eclipsing 100,000 views per video

Why?

Topic selection and channel size aside

You can see on channel #2 that they are using much more intriguing thumbnails

There’s drama, funny faces etc.

This is what draws people into a video, getting them to click and watch

So if right now you’re struggling to get views on your videos

Crank up the intrigue factor on your thumbnails…

But what if you’re not in the sports niche

Can you still make intruiging thumbnails?

Of course!

Just look at how intrigue is associated with videos on the foods we eat

TLDR: More intrigue > more views

Give this a go and let me know how it goes!
