What making $10,000 a month on YouTube actually looks like

Here's the behind the scenes

Have you ever watched a magician perform a mesmerizing trick?

At first, you think that only someone with years of talent could pull it off

But when the magician shares how it was done it all of a sudden seems like something you could emulate on your own within a few days or weeks of work

Well, the same goes for YouTube

You see people posting screenshots all the time of $10,000+ months

And probably wonder to yourself “how the hell are they doing it?”

So let me pull back the curtain on how this is done

And what you’ll soon come to learn is that it’s not as complicated as you think…

If making $10,000 a month is on your 2025 game card then here’s what it actually looks like

Most often, the channel making this money is set up in a high-demand niche

This means that before even uploading there are a TON of people who are already interested in the topic

As the saying goes “better to sell something that’s already selling”

Then there is video planning and production

Most channels making 5-figures have a robust ideation and production plan in place

They know how to find topics with present demand to tap into (again this is 90% of the battle)

But they also know the importance of video production

This means they ditch low grade footage, poor quality voiceovers, subpar edits etc.

In fact, this is one of the key differences between lackluster channels and those putting up big revenue figures

The big earners understand that people aren’t going to sit through a boring or poorly produced video

That’s why they hold themselves and their team to strict quality standards

So that each viewer walks away satisfied after consuming their content

Now, this production process can be via self-production (i.e. you make the videos yourself)

But often a team is involved to raise the video quality faster and make the time demands on the channel owner minimal

Now here’s the cherry on top: monetization

In the same way where 40 hours of work can be traded for $500 or $5,000

Views can be more or less efficiently monetized…

So very often these 5-figure channels are not only earning from ad revenue

But from brand deals, affiliates etc.

Did you notice something from this description of a $10,000 per month channel

It’s not much different than what you’re already doing…

It’s just doing what you’re doing now - but a bit (or a lot) better…

That means that the only difference between your current YouTube income and $10,000 are two things:

1. Knowledge

2. Skill

Knowledge is knowing what you’re doing wrong in order to fix it

Skill is applying the learning to your video components

It’s like an employee…

When you first start a job, you’re making less because you lack knowledge and skill

When you learn and progress, you earn more because you gain these assets over time

It’s the same on YouTube

But most people quit YouTube before they get good

Giving up their dream online income that they desire

This year, don’t focus on making X dollars

Focus on improving your content X percent

Because when your content improves, the money will come

Until tomorrow,

Adam
