What actually gets people to watch your YouTube videos

Get views on easy mode...

Do you ever look at your video views and think to yourself

“What the hell am I doing wrong?”

This is very common

And I asked myself this question hundreds of times when first starting out on YouTube

Then one day I was recommended a health related video

This video was poorly edited, had a mediocre voiceover

And it still had generated millions of views

How’s that possible?

It hit on one of the most important aspects of any compelling YouTube video

No, it’s not an over the top thumbnail

It’s not even a masterfully crafted title

It’s the resonance of a pain point of the viewer

Take for example the channel Forever Health

This channel has been able to generate numerous million view videos

Using basic thumbnails and editing

How?

By solving the pain points of its viewers

Which in this case are diabetics trying to manage their blood sugar

Because people are so desperate for solutions to these health issues

People don’t care how well edited the videos are

Or the crispness of the voiceovers

They just want any information that will help ease their pains

This concept is critical to understand if you want to grow your channel

And fortunately it doesn’t just relate to health ailments

Touch on people’s struggles to find love

Touch on their lack of productivity

Ask yourself what pain points you experience daily

Those pains are probably something you could build a channel around

And scale your views to the moon like this channel…

Until tomorrow,

Adam
