- Unfortunately, you need to hear this
Unfortunately, you need to hear this
This separates winners from losers...
Just got done reviewing some student channels…
And I need to tell you something
There was one singular mindset switch I had to make that unlocked everything for me with YouTube automation
Seriously, 1 simple thing…
And once I understood it, everything changed
This is the type of mindset that turns you from someone who "tries" YouTube to someone who actually succeeds
Let me take you back for a sec
When I first started building automated channels, I had some pretty naive ideas
I thought if I just uploaded consistently and followed what other YouTubers were doing...
The algorithm would eventually notice me
I was basically waiting for YouTube to give me success
I had all these optimistic ideas about what the platform "should" do for creators…
How much easier things would be if YouTube just promoted good content automatically
Of course, at the time…
I was barely making $300/month from my channels
Working 60+ hours a week as a CPA
And had next to no understanding of how business actually works
But being so inexperienced…
I believed that if I just kept uploading, things would get better
I had trust in the system that everything would work out
Things changed for me once I started diving deeper into YouTube
I learned YouTube actually doesn't care about you at all…
The algorithm isn't your friend
And there are no participation trophies for "mediocre content"
Very humbling thing to learn as someone who thought they deserved success
But almost immediately, I began to adopt this mindset:
Everything is up to me, and me alone
Not that YouTube owes me anything
The opposite actually
If I wanted something to happen, not a single soul would provide that to me
YouTube wasn't going to help me
Other creators had their own channels to worry about
There are no handouts
The whole idea is this…
Waiting for somebody else to make you successful is a waste of your time
It's never gonna happen
I knew that if I was going to build a $10,000/month channel...
That was never going to happen unless I figured it out myself
And that's exactly what I did
I made the decision to stop waiting for the algorithm and I got to work
That's when I hit my first $5,000 month
Then $10,000
Then $30,000 and beyond…
And because I built it myself, nobody can take it away from me
People these days rely too much on luck
They're too afraid to take control of their own success
They believe the safer option is to hope someone else will help them
Nobody's gonna help you
If you're serious about this, it's all on you
The sooner you realize how much you're capable of achieving, the faster you'll get there
You can have the YouTube success you want
But nobody is going to give it to you except yourself
Independence is what makes you successful
Waiting for others is what keeps you broke
Until next time,
Adam
