The TRUTH About Going Viral As A Small YouTube Channel

Building a YouTube channel is a lot like rolling a boulder up a hill

At the bottom, you have push relentlessly in order to gain momentum

With even one step back causing the boulder to fall back onto you

This part of the YouTube process builds both character and consistency

Which if you ask me are the two traits that are essential to YouTube success

Now, the good news about YouTube is that once you get the boulder up to the peak, everything changes…

As you probably know from running up and down hills as a child (or adult - I don’t judge!)

It’s much easier going downhill than it is upwards…

In the context of YouTube, once you have a few videos take off or reach a critical mass of subscribers growing becomes to much easier

The sad part is that most people never let their channels get to the point where momentum is on their side…

They never enjoy that “boulder rolling down the hill” effect…

Why? Because they succumb to the limiting belief that you can’t go viral as a small channel

Which quite frankly isn’t true…

How do I know this?

Because I’ve seen my students do it time and again…

For example, I just had a student message me this:

His video generated so many views that he thought people were buying views! (which wasn’t at all the case as confirmed by the analytics)

As I’m writing this email, his video has now amassed over 100k views in just 2 days

A result achieved with less than 1,000 subscribers…

“Adam, how did he do it?”
