The TRUTH About Building A Faceless YouTube Channel

Do NOT Start A Channel Before Reading This...

Starting the right faceless YouTube channel may just be the best decision you make in 2024

Why do I say that?

Because a well-positioned channel can make you a ton of money (this is from my own personal experience and many of my students as well)

But here’s the thing…

Starting a faceless YouTube channel can also be the worst decision you make in 2024 if you go about it incorrectly

What do I mean by this?

There’s no doubting the fact that there are a ton of really successful creators on YouTube

And many of them are more than happy to share their successes with the world

This is great because with the right guidance, building a cashflowing digital asset like a YouTube channel becomes 10x easier

However, often it’s only the end results that are displayed

Without the inputs being considered

And this can lead the average person astray…

Adam…give me an example!

I’d be happy to…

A friend and fellow successful creator is Wono (owner of the channel Market Whisperer)

This channel has 1 single video

It’s amassed over 2 million views

Amassed over 38,000 subscribers

And generated the channel $10,000+

Impressive? Absolutely…

Wono is one of the best creators I’ve ever interacted with

The problem? We only see the outputs of his masterful work

And so many people think that they can recreate his success

Using his channel as inspiration

But when we peel back the layers of the onion

We start to see what really went into this video…

It was 100s of hours of planning

Which if you make even $10 an hour is $1,000 worth of your time

And that’s before the cost of production which he outlines in his recent X post

$2,000 to make this incredible video

Not an issue for an experienced creator

Who has the ability to recover that cost in multiples

But as a beginner just getting started

Trying to mimic this approach is a recipe for disaster

Without advanced YouTube knowledge

Spending this much money on a video is almost certainly going to result in a financial loss

And too many of these losses is what causes creators to quit…

This is why I am a big fan of low-production cost channels

For example, this video that I produced is one that can be outsourced for less than $100

And it generated over $12,000 just in ad revenue

Another channel that does this well is Little Bit Better

They are able to create videos that amass 100,000s if not millions of views

While using basic production tools

How is this possible?

It’s possible when you understand that it’s not the production value of a video that determines its results

But the value proposition that the video entails…

Which is what I ensure my students focus on when building their own channels

The truth is that you can make the same income with a low-cost channel as you can running one where you spend $100s or $1,000s per video

Therefore, when looking for channel inspiration don’t just look at video view counts

Consider what the production time and costs would have been to create that end result…
