Top YouTube secrets that will make you a millionaire (kinda)

Hear me out on this one...

So, you want to become a YouTube millionaire?

You don't need me to sit here and tell you that becoming a YouTube millionaire will come easy.

Quite frankly, there's nothing easy about making money online, in the same way there's nothing easy about making money in the way you're going about it right now.

However, if you notice those around you who are well above average in their net worth, you'll notice that they very often prioritize finding out what best practices are working and simply model after them.

On the contrary, those who are struggling financially tend to use low-performing methods to try and increase both their income and wealth potential.

On YouTube, the same principles apply.

While everyone is searching for new and innovative ways to get an edge on the platform, the most common and effective advice continues to prevail: simply find what's working in the market and employ those winning practices on your own channel.

Unfortunately, while this is effective advice, it is very often ignored, leading to both frustration and the eventual quitting of numerous channels every single day.

Take this video as an example of a channel that's ignoring the wisdom of identifying YouTube best practices and employing them on their channel.

As you can see from this video right here, clearly, they've neglected to educate themselves on how to properly package their videos—from the hard-to-read text to the overly crowded design.

It's no wonder that this video is struggling to break the 100-view barrier.

Sadly, you may have made some of these mistakes yourself in the past.

Maybe you used too-small thumbnail text that was absolutely impossible to read when someone came across it on their mobile phone.

Alternatively, you may be pursuing topics that either have no demand associated with them or where the competition is so fierce that there's no way your videos will prevail.

The takeaway lesson is this: Stop overcomplicating YouTube success.

Use tools like VidIQ and 1of10 to identify outliers on the platform. Ensure that the videos you're pursuing have proven existing demand, and leverage best practices when it comes to the scripting and packaging of your videos.

Yes, I know that I basically give you the same advice every single day, but as the saying goes, most often we need to be reminded more than we need to be taught.

So, let this be your reminder for the day.

Until tomorrow,

Adam
