How to time travel and get what you want faster

In the world we live in today, everyone wants things faster. It’s why we microwave our food and why we pay Amazon every single month to ship our orders the next day.

Unfortunately, not everything we want on a day-to-day basis can be delivered to us in such a short time frame.

For instance, that Porsche we want to own may take years to afford. Or finding that perfect partner may require you to go on another 50 dates.

It’s crazy to think that even in 2024, where we have robots that can clean our houses and planes that can fly us across the world in a few hours, we still don’t have a way to speed up time and get what we truly want out of life faster.

Well, this isn’t actually 100% true.

There is one way to hack time, and it comes in the form of learning.

You see, back in the day, I used to be a major advocate for trying to figure everything out on my own. This probably stemmed from the fact that I was doing everything on a shoestring budget and didn’t have the means to do it any other way.

For instance, when I needed help with my master’s studies, I tried to figure it all out myself. But when I invested in a tutor, my grades instantly got better.

The same thing happened in my YouTube journey. It was only once I connected with larger creators and paid for their advice that I got my channel monetized and started making money.

Once I started noticing this trend of getting better results when I got better information, I realized that I had the power of time traveling and didn’t even know it.

For instance, this past year, I was able to time travel by hiring an online business coach who had earned multiple seven figures online and had 20 years of experience in the business. While it was a steep five-figure investment at the time, it allowed me to generate a 15x return and, just as importantly, save me from two decades’ worth of mistakes.

This is a principle that I often share with my students inside Tube Academy as they’re getting started. I tell them that they should reach out for support as much as they need so that they can streamline their own path to YouTube success.

For instance, one of my students recently got monetized after uploading just 12 videos.

How?

By using the time machine method.

You see, it takes people on average 152 videos to get monetized, but for him, it took only 10% of that.

How?

Because he was able to leverage my many years of YouTube experience in selecting his niche and positioning his videos for maximum appeal

This ultimately ended up saving him thousands of dollars.

How, did he save money you may be wondering?

Just think about it. If you were outsourcing each one of your videos at $100 each and it took 152 videos to start making money, you’d have to spend over $15,000 before you saw any money coming back to you.

At the same price point, with just 12 videos, you would have spent just $1,200 to unlock a brand new stream of income.

This is the power of the time machine method. You make faster progress because you’re not making beginner mistakes, and you’re also not growing in frustration because you’re avoiding wasting a ton of money on videos that will never perform.

Therefore, when you really think about it, the only way you can hack time is to access the experience of others.

When I figured this out in my own life, things changed for the better. Just as importantly as making more money, it allowed me to simply never find myself in a position where I felt stuck. If there was something I simply couldn’t crack, I would just find the person who had already achieved the results I wanted and pay them to help me progress in the right direction.

At the end of the day, getting to your desired result will always come with a cost. That cost can be more time or more money, but either way, the results that we all want do come with a price tag.

And if you want to pull forward the results you’re set to achieve in 2026 into 2024, then employing the time machine method is the most effective way to go about it.
