This SIMPLE YouTube trick can 10X your views in 2025
Start doing this
Have you ever been talking to a family member or friend
And they happen to tell you a story for the 2nd or 3rd time?
For some, you patiently let them tell their story and just wait it out
For others, you cut them off telling them this is a repeat performance
Regardless of your response, we can both agree that hearing a story for a second (or third) time is nowhere near as exciting as hearing it for a first time
Why is that the case?
Because the novelty on the subsequent times is gone…
The same goes for videos on YouTube
Anything that’s tagged as being “old news” is not going to be very intriguing to your prospective viewers
On the flipside, anything that seems new and novel will certainly be…
One way to add time-relevance to your videos is to start packaging your videos to reflect this effect
Take for example my student Mark
Mark knows that people want the inside scoop on what stocks and ETFs to buy for 2025
So what does he do?
He leans into the time-relevancy technique by ensuring that he indicates that the information in his videos will give people the most real-time information possible
To help them make the most effective trades for the new year…
As you can see from the video results, these videos are mega outliers on his channel as he leverages a ton of market demand for breaking information on stocks to buy for 2025
Now, maybe you don’t run an investing channel
No big deal!
This strategy can be used in just about any niche
For example, if you’re in the book summary niche you could create a topic around
“5 business books you NEED to read in 2025”
If you’re in the MMA niche you could create a topic around
“5 fighters that will DOMINATE the UFC in 2025”
By making your videos more timely, you make them more relevant and intruiging
And these are the elements that make or break a video’s success
So start adding time-relevancy to your videos and watch your videos start to take off
