This one mistake kills most channels
You don’t need more uploads
Hey there,
If your channel isn’t growing and your views are stuck…
It’s probably not because of how many times you upload a week
And no, it’s definitely not the algorithm “hating you”
It’s your retention strategy
Most beginners build automated channels thinking that if they upload more often…
Growth will magically happen
But YouTube doesn’t reward effort
It rewards behavior
Meaning if your videos aren’t holding attention…
YouTube isn’t going to recommend them
No matter how many you post
So instead, you need to start thinking like a Netflix showrunner
Not a YouTuber
Sounds weird, but give me a second to explain…
Your first 30 seconds need to create tension or curiosity
(Not dump information)
Your midpoint needs a pacing shift
B-roll, a cutaway, a surprise moment
Your last 15 seconds need to open a loop, not close one
That’s how you get people binge-watching your channel
Which means more watch time
More recommendations
And more money
If your content feels “flat” and you’re not seeing growth…
It’s not a YouTube problem
It’s a structural problem
Fix that
And everything changes
