- This is why your videos aren’t getting views
This is why your videos aren’t getting views
And how to fix it ASAP
Hey there,
If you’ve been posting on YouTube and still not getting the views you want…
This email might change everything for you
See, most people don’t get stuck because they’re not trying
They get stuck because no one ever taught them how YouTube actually works
So let’s break it down…
1. Your titles are too vague
Nobody clicks on a video unless the title makes them curious
Look at it like this:
You're not trying to summarize the video – you're trying to sell the click
Stop writing titles like…
“How I Became Successful”
“My Daily Routine”
“Life Update”
Start writing titles that create tension…
“I Tried This for 30 Days… Here’s What Happened”
“If You Hate Your 9-5, Watch This”
“7 Mistakes Every 30 Y/o Should Avoid”
A strong title makes someone stop scrolling
That’s the goal
2. Your thumbnails are doing nothing
Thumbnails are just as important – maybe even more…
Your thumbnail should:
1. Tell a visual story
2. Show emotion or contrast
3. Be easily readable on mobile
4. Make someone feel something
You don’t need to be a designer
You just need to stand out
Quick test: Would you click your own thumbnail?
If not, it’s time to fix it
3. You’re losing people in the first 30 seconds
The intro of your video is make or break
If someone doesn’t understand what the video is about – and why they should care – in the first 20–30 seconds…
They’re gone
The algorithm notices that
Instead of opening with a long backstory or intro…
Hook them immediately
1. Start with the payoff
2. Tease what they’ll learn or see
3. Set up the value, then deliver it
Example: “Most people waste their first year on YouTube. I’m going to show you how to skip that.”
Now you’ve got their attention
4. You’re uploading with no strategy
Random videos = random results
Look at your last 10 uploads. Is there a clear theme?
Do they speak to the same audience?
If not, your channel won’t grow
Start by locking in one niche and one format
Then post with a purpose
Each video should target a specific viewer, follow a proven format, and lead naturally to the next video
This is how bingeable channels are built
5. You aren’t using retention tricks
Getting the click is step one
Keeping them watching is what triggers the algorithm
Use these simple tactics like…
- Pattern interrupts (visual or audio changes)
- Open loops (“Later in the video, I’ll show you…”)
- Mid-video hooks
- Fast pacing – cut the fluff
Viewers don’t need fancy editing
They need to stay interested
If you actually apply these, I guarantee your videos will start to perform better
But here’s what I know from experience…
Most people will read this, nod their head…
…and go back to doing things the same way
Don’t let that be you
