This is what's actually stopping you from making money on YouTube

Unless your name is Jeff Bezos, chances are you could stand to make a bit (or a lot) more money

I mean, have you seen the prices at the grocery store lately?

The trouble is that most people have the desire to make more money

And many even have the drive to make it happen

But what they lack is the knowledge that generates actual results

One of those missing pieces that many people lack involves the video production process

I received a DM the other day from a middle-aged man who was inquiring about joining Tube Academy

He had the interest in building a cashflowing channel

He even had the time to commit to the process

His issue? Not knowing how he would even start going about making videos

He figured that he had to do all the work himself

And not being overly technically inclined, this scared the shit out of him

Fortunately, running a YouTube channel requires less skills than many think

No, you don’t have to be a master writer

Nor do you have to have a voice like Morgan Freeman

Or be a proficient editor

Does it help if you have these skills and traits - of course!

But are they necessary? Not at all

“How is that possible Adam?”

Simple, you outsource!

You see, the other day my wife made me the most delicious meal

Taco-style flank steak (so good!)

And it made me think “I am so damn glad she’s a great cook because I’m awful at it”

But I am good at cleaning the house, YouTube, financial management

And the list goes on, and on, and on (ok I will stop!)

The point is that her and I make it work because we are a team

We are the sum of the parts that we both bring to the table

And the same approach can be leveraged on your YouTube channel

You take on the parts of the process you enjoy (e.g. ideation, titling etc.)

And leave the rest to your qualified, proficient team

This is how almost all of my Tube Academy students run their channels

And this is what produces the best results

It’s like having the Avengers producing your videos

Because each person brings their superpower to the table

Allowing you to produce amazing videos that people actually want to watch

Therefore, if you think you need to be a whiz on the computer

Or have years of design experience to make YouTube work

Then I hate to say it but you’re wrong

As the saying goes “team work makes the dream work”

And if you have the dream of making money on YouTube

Then you should be building a team that can allow you to do just that!
