This is actually crazy

The other day, I got a message from one of my oldest friends

He said “yeah, most times when I go to Costco I have to pass up on buying protein, it’s just too expensive”

Now, part of me was thinking when I read this “yeah, prices have been going up for sure”

But part of me was thinking “how the hell can be friend with a master’s degree be struggling to buy groceries?”

This message truly took me for a loop because him and I were once on a very similar life path
