This bothers me daily...

Do you know what the worst thing in the world is?

No, it’s not people who drive slowly in the passing lane

It’s missed opportunities

And let me tell you that I have been witnessing the missed opportunity of a lifetime

Case and point: my wife

Every single day I see her scrolling on TikTok

She watches recipe videos, Taylor Swift videos and a bunch of other brain rot

And once in a while I think to myself:

“If she just spent that time scrolling making content we’d be trillionaires”

You see, as I get older, I notice myself becoming more and more aware of the use of my time

It was no problem sleeping in until 10am as a kid or spending 8 hours a day gaming as a teenager

But now, every damn second counts…

That’s why I cringe when I see my lovely wife watching TikTok when she could be creating instead

When I bring this up to her she just says “one creator in the couple is enough”

And I guess I’m doing enough content creation for the both of us…

But nevertheless the principle remains valid

If most people spent those 2-3 hours a day they scroll now to build an online asset

Within 6-12 months they’d have a new stream of income paying them monthly

Even if it’s only $1,000 a month

That’s much better than whatever “benefit” you’re getting now from making others rich by watching their content online

Therefore, let this be a reminder that you have ultimate control over your time

Use it well this year and you’ll be thanking yourself come December

Use it poorly and you’ll find yourself in the same position 10 months from now

I hope you decide on the former!
