The YouTube secret I should be charging $1,000s for...

Here it is (for free)

There are a lot of strategies on YouTube that can help you grow and monetize your channel.

For instance, simply creating more engaging titles can drastically improve the number of views your channel is generating.

However, you’re probably sick and tired of being told to keep your title short and to use power words to engage more viewers.

So, let’s tap into a YouTube strategy that no one is talking about—one I truly should be charging thousands for.

Why? Because it just simply works that well.

Take, for example, the channel Sean Desilets.

As you can see, his channel has amassed 12,000 subscribers with only 29 videos.

If you look across his channel, you’ll notice that most of his videos struggle to get even a couple of thousand views.

However, there’s one video that has stood out amongst the rest: I’d Rather Live Than Work a 9-5

This video has amassed over 300,000 views so far and is a 100-times outlier on his channel.

Why did this video do so well?

Well, clearly, it’s not the overly engaging thumbnail that put this video over the top.

Some could argue that the title is somewhat strong, but again, there’s something more important going on here.

This video has performed exceptionally well because it is combating a common foe.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that a lot of people dislike their 9-to-5 jobs or the working world in general.

What this video does is push back against these conventional norms that many people find divisive in their own day-to-day lives.

The same concept can be seen in niches like politics, where one party creates content against another, or in sports, where one team targets another.

By calling out a common opponent or enemy, you rally those who are die-hard about your position behind you.

And in this example, you’ve seen this approach work incredibly well.

Now, you may not have strong sentiments about the 9-to-5 world, but you can still use this strategy to your advantage.

For instance, you may have strong feelings against WordPress, a commonly used website builder tool.

Or you may have some beef with the keto diet, given that you love carbs as much as I do.

Find a common foe in your niche—or one you truly don’t resonate with—and make content against it.

Those who are on your side will come to love your content, and those who are against you probably weren’t the most engaged viewers to begin with.

Give this a try, and let me know how it goes.

Until tomorrow,

Adam
