The Pizza Roll Incident

You gotta hear this...

As a married man, I am constantly being lectured on the importance of “date nights”

As if giving my wife a ring and having a full ceremony wasn’t enough to show how much I love her

Many times, these date nights take the form of going out for dinner

We usually do greek or italian but recently we decided to try our luck at Chinese

Sweet and sour chicken balls and egg rolls, don’t mind if I do!

However, when I got to the restaurant, something weird happened

After getting settled in at our table, I started to review the menu

I saw Won Ton Soup, Mushroom Fried Rice, Potstickers

And then I saw something that made me to a 2nd look

Pizza rolls…

I’m a daring guy but not even I would stray away from the classics to try out this “interesting” piece

After dinner, I was talking with my wife and said “did you see pizza rolls on the menu?”

She nodded and agreed it was odd and a little off putting.

What’s crazy is that many channels on YouTube are having their own pizza roll crisis as we speak

They enter into a niche on YouTube and underappreciate the importance of niche alignment

Not familiar with the term?

It’s the principle that states that in order to maximize views you should be consistently uploading in alignment to your niche

Stray away and you risk turning away even your most loyal of viewers…

Here’s why this is so critical to understand

When you upload a video, your content is surfaced to a prospective viewer

They watch your video, enjoy and subscribe for more of your amazing content

Here’s the catch, they want to see content related to the content that initially drew them in

But then you vary your next set of uploads

One video it’s dividend investing (what got that viewer interested)

Then the next is clearing student debt (not relevant to that viewer at all causing them not to watch)

The next is retirement management (again not relevant to that viewer)

After your new subscriber ignores multiple future recommendations from your channel they will no longer get recommended your content

And in a nutshell you’ve just lost a loyal viewer

This puts you on the YouTube treadmill

Having to attract new viewers if you hope to get any type of viewership on your videos

Instead of just getting loyal fans to watch video after video

It’s like having to make a new friend everytime you wanted to hang out

How laborious would that be, right?

What’s crazy is that this is just one aspect of a niche that you need to understand in order to succeed on YouTube

As for the rest, that’s what I’ll be going over in the Your $10,000/mo YouTube Niche Workshop on March 17th at 7pm EST.

In this workshop, I will share with you the:

  • 5 most powerful niche discovery strategies to find your own high-paying niche

  • Niche criteria to validate your niches growth and income potential

  • 10 niches you must avoid on YouTube (that won’t make you money)

Plus, you will get a live demonstration of the most effective niche discovery and validation tool on the market, TubeLab, lead by the tools founder himself.

Tickets are $100.

The workshop will include Q&A time at the end for you to get all of your YouTube questions answered.

Plus attendees will get access to an exclusive offer that I will not be sharing publicly.

If you’re ready to make money on YouTube in 2025 and want to learn how to position yourself for success then this workshop is for you.

See you there!
