The most common YouTube question of all time

Part of growing up is becoming more self-aware

For example, at 32, I have now realized that one of my previously believed “best traits” is actually not true

You see, I used to see myself as a very patient person

Not only with the people I spent time with

But more specifically the endeavors that I took on

However, after some self-reflection, I’ve come to realize that I am not a very patient person

I like moving with speed and I love working with people who do too

So whenever I get asked “how long does it take to start making money on YouTube?” I totally get it

People don’t want to wait years to see results

They want results now

Sadly though, it takes the average channel owner 152 videos to get monetized

At 1 upload a week, that’s almost 3 years of uploading before you start to see the money rolling in

Personally, I don’t think most people have the patience to wait this long…

Which means that most people are never going to make money on YouTube

That is unless they are able to speed up this learning process

And to do this you only need 1 things: a strategy…

A strategy narrows the gap because it informs you on:

• What niche to select

• What videos to make

• How to hire your team

• How to package your videos etc.

I see having a strategy like using a recipe

Without a recipe, you have no idea how your meal will turn out

However, with a recipe, you know that you’ll get repeatable results every single time

Take for example my student Santiago

He recently joined Tube Academy eager to build up a side income

Before joining, he had zero idea how to grow and monetize a channel

After uploading his first video he got monetized

And his latter videos are consistently pulling in a substantial amount of views

The best part?

In a matter of a month, he was able to absorb all the knowledge he needed to start getting results and start making money

So the answer to the question, “how long does it take to make money on YouTube?” is: it depends.

It depends on the knowledge you have and how well you apply said knowledge

Right the right info, the results can come quick

With the wrong information, the results may never come at all
