The biggest lie you've been told about YouTube

Stop believing this nonsense...

In life, there are a lot of common fallacies that people fall for

Like “carbs make you fat”

And “you need to go to college to be successful”

On YouTube, it’s no different

Everyone thinks you need to find some untapped niche to grow

Or that you need to pour $1,000s into your channel before it makes you money

It’s all nonsense…

Probably the biggest lie, and the one holding many people back, relates to production quality

People think they need the most expensive gear, fancy setup or over the top edits to grow and make money

This is far from the case…

Take for example my student Mark

Mark runs a successful dividend investing channel

Right now, his channel is pulling in over $3,000 just in ad revenue

Plus all the money he brings is via the consulting he offers those who want to work with him personally

The best part?

He’s not turning around and spending that $3,000/mo on the production of his videos

It’s just him and an inexpensive editor

How does he generate so many monthly views without all of those fancy edits people tell you that you need?

Simple, he understand his audience and what they want to watch

As mentioned previously, his audience consists of investing fanatics

So naturally, talking about stocks to buy will be a hit

You see, what you actually need to incorporate in your videos are what your audience deems to be valuable

For his audience, it’s investing tips and insights

For another audience, it could be comedic relief or the ability to tell engaging stories

As long as you give your audience what it wants, you will continue to generate views over time (without breaking the bank making overly produced videos)

If you want to build your own channel by working with me directly then this is where I’ll remind you that today I’ve opened up 3 new spots inside Tube Academy

If you want the details, reply back “Tube” and I will personally send them over to you

Happy Monday!
