Read this email to save 2 years of your life

Seriously...

The other day I was relaxing in my living room and I thought to myself

Where the hell did my 20s go?

It seems like just yesterday I was in university studying away

And now I’m 32, married and starting to experience weird aches and pains like an old person

When I look back at the last decade, I fortunately have few regrets

But if I had to pinpoint one it would be not starting YouTube sooner

Why?

It’s not even about starting to make money online sooner (although that would have been nice)

It would have been about learning how much potential there is out there to make money (especially outside of a 9-5 job)

I’m sure you’re in a similar situation

You wish you had certain pieces of wisdom 5 or 10 years ago

Because if you had them back then, your life how would be radically different (in a good way)

While we can’t access a time machine to go back (yet…) we can learn from others

I sent out an email a while back about this “time machine” trend and to my surprise it’s STILL working!

Here’s an example:

As you can see, in comparison to her other videos, this “time machine” video is performing exceedingly well

The best part about this topic? It’s nearly univeral in its application

In the sports niche?

20 pickleball cheat codes I know after 3 years that I wish I knew when starting

In the coding niche?

20 hacks I know after 10 years coding I wish I knew on Day 1

Whatever niche you’re in, simply structure your video to share wisdom from experience that would help out people earlier on in their journey

Because of people’s inherent desire for faster results

And their cognizance of the value of time

This topic will perform well now, and naturally into the future

It’s little tactics like this one that will streamline your ideation process

And save you months of formulating low-performing topics

That not only waste your precious time but money as well
