The Most POWERFUL YouTube Lesson No One Will Tell You

Have you ever heard the story of the Chinese Bamboo Tree?

If you haven’t, it goes a little something like this

Bamboo trees are slow-growing in nature

You have to care for them for years and during that time seemingly nothing happens

Nothing happens for so long that many people give up on their trees and stop trying to grow them all together

However, in the 5th year of the bamboo tree, it explodes in growth

Being able to grow to up to 80 feet in just six weeks

Crazy, right?

Whether you realize it or not, the same notion applies to YouTube

On YouTube, especially as a beginner, nothing happens

Then nothing continues to happen as you work your way through the learning curve

Then, all of a sudden, you start putting the pieces together and next thing you know…

Takeoff!

That’s what happened to my Tube Academy Student James

He was putting in the work but was just missing that key ingredient that allowed his channel to take off

When that ingredient was added, here’s what happened:

James echoes this lesson in his comment in the community:

“It took me 32 bad to mediocre videos to get 519 subscribers and then the 33rd video took off, got 80k views and so far has got me to 1.65k subscribers! So, in short, keep working and improving. You're only one good video away from getting monetized!”

First off, congrats to James as this is a massive achievement

It takes the average YouTuber 152 videos to get monetized

And James did it in just 33 videos

But more importantly, he stuck with it and has now unlocked a new income stream for him to enjoy this summer and into perpetuity

So keep watering your YouTube tree and good things will happen
