Please stop wasting your time...

If I had to narrow down the most important events of my life they would be the following:

1. Meeting my wife

2. Starting online business

3. Completing my CPA designation

Why are these three events so important?

Because they have shaped the life that I lead today

Meeting my wife has allowed me to find a partner who supports me and has led to me gaining multiple new siblings and in-laws I get along with tremendously well

Starting online businesses (i.e. YouTube) has allowed me to exponentially increase my income and net worth so I can travel, stress less etc.

Completing my CPA designation was the climax of years of schooling which tested and built the discipline I have today

Why am I sharing all of these events and probably coming across as a bragger in the process?

Because they all have one thing in common: preparation

You see, in order to swoon my wife, I had to be prepared

I needed to be in shape, make money and develop my social skills in order for her to see me as a suitable partner

In online business, I had to prepare via learning through mentors, courses, coaching, online resources etc. so that my efforts would be rewarded

And in terms of my CPA designation, I had to prepare for years to acquire the accounting knowledge and experience it would take to get accredited

The point I’m trying to make here is that success (and the things you truly want out of life) are the by-product of putting yourself in a position to attain them

And sadly, when it comes to YouTube, so many people are missing the mark

This was the case with my student Austin who runs the channel Militology

Before we started working together, he was struggling to crack 1,000 views a video

He was incredibly frustrated in these results as he strived to build a secondary income stream on YouTube to support himself and his growing family

And then preparation met effort as we started to work together

I shared with him the ideation and packaging mistakes he was making

Which were keeping him locked in 1k view jail…

Now, it’s not uncommon for him to generate 10,000+ views per video

While not increasing his costs or efforts put into his videos

In essence, if you are going to take YouTube seriously, equip yourself with the tools you’ll need to be successful

You wouldn’t fair well being the soldier going into war without his gun

And you won’t fair well on YouTube without some plan of action in hand

If you take this advice for what it’s worth - you’ll be saving yourself a ton of time and heartache

And will be speeding up your results in the process
