The ONE THING Holding Back 99% of YouTube Channels
Fix this and you may just fix your channel...
Here’s some good news for you
You’re probably better at making YouTube videos than you think
However, you probably don’t believe me
Why?
Because your videos are not generating the amount of views you desire
And guess what'? You’re right!
But they could be…
After having worked with numerous students over the past few years
I’ve come to realize that many of their strengths comes in their passion for their niche
Or the production quality of the videos they are making
But where they falter is in their video packaging
Simply put - they aren’t that adept at creating effective titles and thumbnails for their videos
Let me share with you an example of just how powerful a change in packaging approach can be using one of my students as an example
My student runs a very informative, high production quality military channel
While he’s had a few hits to date, most of his videos were generating only 200-1,000 views each
Which is far less than they truly deserved…
So our focus was on making the videos more relevant to a broader audience
While also aiming to spark more intrigue in the prospective viewer
Here’s the difference in views between the old approach and the new approach
Left (new approach): using a broader title to open up the appeal of the video to more prospective viewers while adding in capitalized power words
Right (old approach): titling the video based on an obscure topic that’s only recognizable to those with domain expertise
As you can see, the newer video generated 31x more views than the other
Simply but focusing on how to package the video to attract more attention
And this is where people go wrong
They work so hard on putting a video together
But overlook one of the most important parts - packaging
This is why inside Tube Academy I have an entire module for both titling and thumbnails
Because they are THAT IMPORTANT to your YouTube success
Fix them, and you may just fix your channel…
