What I learned from my fiancées bachelorette in NYC

It’s Friday, July 19th and once again it’s a beautiful summer day

Inside my household were rumblings of excitement as my fiancée was getting ready to fly out to NYC for her bachelorette party

And then, it happened…

The world’s tech system came crashing to a halt

Not only did my fiancée’s flight get delayed twice, but she effectively lost one of her three days in the Big Apple

Fortunately, she eventually made it to Manhattan and had a blast while I stayed at home and “held down the fort”

Let me tell you that being home alone for 2 days was an incredibly eye-opening experience

Between running for groceries to cooking, getting our car washed and everything in between

It made me realize that the average person spends a ridiculous amount of time doing “adult” things

And when you layer on family commitments, exercise etc.

It’s no wonder people never feel like they have enough time

The trouble is that amidst this time crunch is also an income crunch…

Every day I get DMs asking me how they can make more money

You see, before, making more money was a “want”

It was to buy a newer car or a larger home

Now, it’s basically a “need”

Because, for the average person, even the basics are becoming out of reach as prices continue to soar

So the question is, how do you actually have some free time to yourself while putting yourself in a position to get ahead?

For me, that weekend made me realize I need to outsource many of my home tasks (e.g. cleaning, grocery shopping etc.)

I know this sounds ridiculous to some of you but if I’ve learned anything it’s this…
