I can't believe this is real

Do you know the best part of travelling?

No, it’s not stuffing your face with gelato when in Italy

Or eating a dozen Pastel de nata when in Portugal

It’s having a freakin minute to actually think for once

If you’re like me then your day to day life is incredibly busy

You have to:

• make money

• exercise

• spend time with your partner

• see your friends etc.

It’s a lot of “doing” and not a lot of “thinking”

When I was travelling most recently, I had a lot of time to think

Think and reflect I should say

Amidst these travels, I got to meet up with one of my Tube Academy students in Barcelona

We had a nice meal, talked YouTube and took in the Spanish sun

After our meetup I had a moment of reflection

“How damn cool is it that I got to meet a student in another country all because of YouTube?”

I would have never guessed when I started my YouTube journey years ago that this would have been the case…

During this period of reflection, I started reflecting more

What I also took for granted was that this trip was being funded by YouTube

When you’ve been uploading videos on YouTube for as long as I have

Making money in this way more or less comes routine

Therefore, if right now you’re blazing through life at 100 miles an hour

Take a moment to reflect

Where have you been?

Where are you going (or at least aim to go?)

Reflecting in this way really helped me appreciate all that I have going on

And I bet it can do the same for you!
