How to be the GOAT on YouTube in under a year
Here's how
It’s January 2026
You’ve now quit your job and are doing YouTube full-time
Making more on YouTube than you were in your six-figure gig
Sounds too good to be true, right?
Think again…
Last month, I had the pleasure of having the owner of the channel GOAT on a call with the Tube Academy community
In this call, he broke down his entire thumbnail design strategy
The major brands that he’s been working with (that blew my mind!)
And how to craft compelling scripts that allow him to generate 100,000s per video
Now, I can’t share all of his strategies in this email but I can give you a peek at one of his most powerful tips
This tip is what led to his channel exploding in a year’s time
Allowing him to leave his job and make six-figures on YouTube…
The strategy that allowed his channel to take off was topic modelling
This involves modelling after winning topics on YouTube
And deploying them in an unsaturated market
Take his most popular videos for example
The topic variant “player vs player was X” lead to the breaking out of his channel
But this wasn’t a fluke
He borrowed this outlier topic from another niche
Applied it to the NBA
The result?
A full-time income on YouTube…
Notice how I didn’t say “he just randomly uploaded”
YouTube is not about luck
It’s about strategy, testing and improvement
And GOAT tests all the time too
Take the “did the impossible topic”
It only got 83k views…
Great, now we know that’s not a winner and we can focus elsewhere
This is how the greatest minds on YouTube operate
And once you start following this page out of their playbook
Your channel will take off too
One student I talked to said this one call with GOAT was worth joining Tube Academy
That’s how powerful learning from people ahead of you truly is…
Until tomorrow,
Adam
P.S. I am getting a lot of people asking for Tube Academy details early. If you want to get your hands on it before I open on Monday, reply “details” and I’ll send them over.
