How often should you upload on YouTube in 2025?
This may surprise you...
Within the YouTube community there are two positions on upload frequency
Some people say that the key to YouTube success is maximizing upload frequency
These people argue that more shots on goal is better
Others argue that the key to YouTube success is focusing on quality instead
Understanding which of these two viewpoints are correct is critical to your own YouTube success this upcoming year
Let me tease out the real answer to this with an analogy
Picture the painter Leonardo Da Vinci
The painter of one of the most famous paintings of all time: The Mona Lisa
It’s estimated that this painting took him at least 3 years to complete with some speculation existing around the fact that it took over a decade to come to final form
What’s incredible about this piece of art is that people still line up to this day to see this miraculous painting
Why? It’s just that good!
But what if Leonardo Da Vinci decided to paint 100s of paintings over that same timespan
Do you think he would have been able to give each painting the care it needed to become a masterpiece like the painting you see above?
No way!
The same principle applies with YouTube videos…
Maximizing upload frequency leads to poor planning, rushed work, meagre results, frustration and quitting
Maximizing upload quality on the other hand leads to you getting a positive ROI on your videos and enjoy the fruits of your labors for months and years to come
While it’s true that the more you upload, the better (in theory) your videos will become over time
As it pertains to taking a maximal upload or maximal quality approach, the latter will undoubtedly provide you way more results on YouTube…
Happy Sunday!
