Here's why your views on YouTube never seem to go up
You want to read this one...
You just released your 10th video in a row that struggled to get over 100 views.
At this point, you're thinking to yourself, "Is this YouTube channel ever going to take off?"
As someone who's been in this exact same position before, I feel your pain.
And it's for this reason that I want to share one of the strategies that you should be employing to help break out of 100-view prison.
You see, I spend a decent amount of time studying the YouTube platform.
And because of this, I'm able to easily spot trending topics that are performing well across multiple niches and channels.
Take this recently popular trend that has been working well for multiple channels across the platform—it's the notion of "brainrot”.
You see, over the last month or so, I've been seeing videos with the word "brainrot" in them popping up on my recommendations non-stop.
But what's more important is that these brainrot-related videos have been generating massive outliers on the channels that are leveraging this trending concept.
Now, how do you identify these trending topics yourself?
While I could write you out a laundry list of tools that you could use to find these types of videos, there's a much simpler way to go about it.
All you have to do is head on over to YouTube using a non-regularly used internet browser.
Once on the homepage, simply start scanning the home page for outlier videos.
Spend 5 to 10 minutes reviewing all the videos, and once you get to the bottom of the page, simply refresh and start your review from the beginning.
If you commit to doing this exercise a couple of times per week, you will start to notice a trend amongst outlier videos on the platform.
From here, you can aim to integrate some of those trending ideas into your own respective videos and use them to gain more traction on your channel.
Who knows? You may be early on the next trend that will take your channel to the next level.
Until tomorrow,
Adam
