The Harsh Truth About Making Money NO ONE Wants To Talk About

You need to realize this immediately...

Do you know what’s expensive?

A Ferrari.

But, do you know what feels like it may as well be as expensive as a Ferrari?

A honeymoon.

Many of you know that I’m getting married in September

And along with the nuptials is a European honeymoon.

Let me tell you that taking European cruise for 2 weeks is not a cheap endeavor

Right now, we are at about $20,000 and counting

Now, fortunately, thanks to YouTube and the power of making money online this is not an amount of money that is outside of my reach

But it’s enough that it had me asking questions

In fact, this past week I had a meeting with my private banking representative

The topic of discussion? Financial planning

As we were talking I asked the rep, “Can I ask you about our honeymoon?”

He looked confused but nodded.

I said, “how do people afford to spend $10,000s on a honeymoon?”

His answer? They don’t…

As someone going through the treachery of planning a wedding now I can tell you that its our european getaway that is keeping me mentally sane

So then I started to reflect and it dawned on me that a lot of my recently married friends never actually went on a honeymoon

If they did, it was only to a local winery for a relaxing weekend getaway

And for context my friends are not of the uneducated class

These are lawyers, CPAs, engineers etc.

Who, by society’s definition, should be able to afford the finer things in life

And that’s the sad, harsh truth about making money these days

The traditional career path isn’t yielding the same fruit as it used to

And it’s not only seeing my friends stagnate financially that have made me aware of this

It’s the dozens of DMs I get every day on X and Instagram

From experienced white and blue collar workers asking how they can make more money

Because we’ve gone from the 1950’s where one income fed two mouthes

To the 1980s where one income fed one mouth

To now where it takes two incomes to feed one mouth

Given this new reality, it’s essential to start building a side income

For me, that was building faceless YouTube channels and it can be the same for you

I’ve documented everything I know about making money on YouTube in my newest guide Tube Tactics.

It’s 5+ years of YouTube expertise from someone who’s made $100,000s on the platform.

At the end of the day, if you are going to be forced into making more money you may as well do it doing something you love

Or at least that’s the way I’ve always seen it!
