The EASIEST Way To Blow Up A New YouTube Channel

Did you know that a fit 91 year old woman can make you rich?

No, I’m not talking about finding yourself a sugar-mama…

This isn’t that type of newsletter…

If you read last week’s email you would have learned about the channel Health & Longevity

In the email I shared how this channel BLEW UP

Generating over 12,000,000 views in just 6 months

Earning an average of $10,000 per month

All while making very budget friendly videos…

Now, last week you probably left wondering how you can do the same

Good thing you opened today’s email!

As I explained, this channel exploited a blue ocean approach on YouTube

This is where you avoid competing in a saturated market

And instead look for untapped niches to situate yourself in

To find these niches, you have two different options:

Option 1: Manual research

Option 2: Tool-supported discovery

Let me now dive into how each one of them work

Under option 1, you will manually scour YouTube for low-competition niches

This involves:

  • Regularly scanning the YouTube homepage

  • Entering keywords into the YouTube search bars and analyzing search results

  • Joining YouTube communities and sharing trending topics

Your goal is to find channels that are:

  • Less than 3 months old (6 months at worst)

  • Generating 1M+ views per month

This is the approach I used to identify this high performing channel back when it first started

This approach works but it takes a lot of time and admittedly a decent amount of luck

Option 2: Tool supported discovery

The amount of innovation in the YouTube tool space over the last few years has been incredible

When I started, I didn’t even have basic keyword tools to work with

Now, tools can literally find you goldmine opportunities

One such tool is the NexLev YouTube Niche Finder*

You can use this tool to filter through millions of YouTube channels

Based on key criteria like:

  • Channel age

  • Revenue Per Mille (RPM)

  • Average views per video

With this tool, you cut out the manual research and find untapped niches in a fraction of the time

Now the cost to use this tool may be more expensive than your typical monthly subscription (starts at $39/mo)

And if you know me then you’ll know that I promote running your channel in the most profitable ways possible

But here’s why using a tool like this actually makes sense from a financial perspective

Let’s say that you dive into a niche without doing any research

You outsource your first batch of 12 videos without any pre-determined direction

At a cost of $100 a video you end up spending $1,200

And because you didn’t do your research (using either method explained above)

Your channel performs poorly, getting next to no views and leaving you upset and out $1,200

The alternative is investing some of that initial money into research tools like the Niche Finder

This is beneficial for two reasons

  1. You can identify untapped niches where you can generate significant views with low budget content (e.g. Health and Longevity channel)

  2. See faster growth leading to a quicker recouperation of initial costs and greater channel profits

Put another way, it’s one step back then 100 steps forward

All because you paid a bit of extra attention before getting started…

In short, if you want to capitalize on an untapped niche

You need to use one of the two strategies I’ve shared

I hope this helps you get your next channel off the ground

And leads to the YouTube success you desire

Until next week,

Adam
