Are you a Mazda or a Maserati?

Which type of vehicle are you?

Picture this…

You're on the highway on your way to work one day.

As you're driving, a car passes you going the opposite direction—it's a Mazda.

Mazdas are very common cars, and as such, you don’t even think about looking over and instead continue to sing along to Taylor Swift on route to your job.

Then another car goes by. It's a brand new Maserati.

While you’re not exactly a car aficionado, you know that this is one expensive and nice-looking car.

You rubberneck as you're driving and take a second glance at that car—one that maybe you yourself want to own one day.

If you’ve ever driven by a nice car, you’ll know that it’s nearly impossible not to give it a second look, sometimes potentially even putting yourself at risk of getting into an accident in order to get in that second glance.

What you may not realize about the situation is that this is exactly how YouTube works.

Except, instead of cars being the object of interest, it’s the videos that get recommended to prospective viewers instead.

And one of the aspects of these videos that makes them stand out—very similar to a common Mazda or a very rare Maserati—are the video formats.

You see, at the end of the day, both the Mazda and the Maserati are one and the same in the sense that they are both vehicles.

But the way that they present themselves, and what they consist of, are vastly different—hence the major discrepancy in their price tags.

Sadly, what most people fail to realize is that the formats they’re using for their videos are causing them to lose out on thousands, if not millions, of views on their channel.

Most people are producing videos that would look like the Mazda in our example—very common videos that give people no reason to give their content a second look.

And then there are others that understand the importance of formats on YouTube. These are the ones that are creating videos that better exemplify the concept of a Maserati.

And it’s these creators that are generating the majority of the views on the platform.

The good news is that, unlike buying cars, where some can be incredibly expensive and others can be a bit more reasonable, on YouTube, using a different format doesn’t have to cost you an arm and a leg.

In fact, you may even be able to spend less money than you are right now to be able to stand out more effectively on YouTube if you simply understand the principles behind format identification and selection.

Given how much the format holds people back from making the money on YouTube that they desire, I've decided that this Saturday (October 12, 2024 at 2pm EST), I'm going to run the Format Mastery Workshop.

The goal of this workshop is to help you identify, select, and validate your channel’s ideal video format so you can grow faster and monetize more effectively on YouTube.

Here's how this workshop will go down:

First, I'll share with you the 3 key elements that make up a YouTube format.

Without an understanding of the format elements, you’ll be blind to what aspects of your videos will allow you to differentiate your videos.

For most people, this means spending weeks or months producing videos before they start to see any appreciable traction. We will sidestep this issue as we go over format elements.

Second, I'll share with you the most effective YouTube formats for 2024 and beyond.

Let’s cut out the format guesswork as I share the most effective formats for growing and monetizing your channel in the final months of 2024 and into the new year.

This means doing less of what doesn’t work and more of what actually moves the needle on your channel.

Finally, I will walk you through the essential format selection criteria so you can nail down your channel format during the workshop call.

Finding the format that's right for you is both an art and a science.

Sadly, most people never effectively grow their channel because their format is holding them back.

Because of how important video formats are in your success, I'm going to personally walk you through how to align your format to both your own journey as a channel owner and to the wants and needs of your particular niche.

If you've been struggling to gain traction on your channel and are wondering how to stand out and generate more views then the Format Mastery Workshop is for you.

Tickets to attend the workshop are just $100.

I'm running the workshop on October 12th, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. EST.
