A lot of things in life are hard to believe until they happen to you

For instance, in my 20s, I didn’t know if marriage was right for me

People would always tell me “you’ll want to get married when you find the one”

To be totally honest, when I used to hear this I thought it was nonsense

And then I met my wife and learned that those words were entirely true…

The same notion goes for making money on YouTube

When I first started making videos, I was skeptical about whether you could actually make money posting videos online

I mean, I had to work 40+ hours at a job just to make $5,000 a month

How could anyone make double that income just by posting videos?

Then, similar to the marriage example, I experienced it first hand

And then I was converted

For example, just one video here made me over $20,000

Let me tell you that when your videos start making you $10,000s you start seeing money in an all new light

As a CPA, I like to nerd out when I hit income figures like this and attach it to tangible things in my day to day life

For example, the $20K is a year’s worth of groceries

It’s mortgage payments for the year

Or nearly all of what it cost my wife and I to go on our honeymoon

Making these associations makes the numbers on the screen real

But it’s only once you achieve them that you truly start to understand the power of building online

At least that’s been my experience…
